Silk Sarees

• Dry clean your silk saree when you wash it for the first time.
• Do not wring your silk saree or use it in the washing machine or dryer to dry your silk saree. Dry your silk saree in a shaded area.
• Do not use the iron directly on the silk saree while ironing. Always use a cotton cloth on top of your silk saree while ironing. Always use the iron in medium heat.
• It is advisable to store your saree in a cloth bag. Do not store your silk saree without dry cleaning.
• Expose your silk sarees periodically to the natural atmosphere.
• Do not store your silk sarees where it is moist. 

Fashion Sarees

• Dry clean your fashionsaree when you wash it for the first time.
• Do not wring your fashion saree or dryer to dry your fashion saree. Dry your fashion saree in a shaded area.
• Do not use the iron on the fashion saree. Air the saree after every use. Always use in medium heat.
• It is advisable to store your saree in a cloth bag. Do not store your fashion saree without dry cleaning.
• Do not store yourfashion sarees where it is moist. 

Cotton Sarees

• Soak your cotton saree for 10-15 minutes in a bucket of warm water mixed with salt. This is to ensure that the color latches onto the cotton saree and will prevent the saree from losing color during subsequent washes.
• Use only a mild detergent to wash your cotton saree. Do not wring it vigorously. Hang it and allow the excess water to drain off.
• Starch your cotton sarees after washing to ensure that they retain their crispness and stay stain-free.
• Dry your cotton saree by hanging it in a shaded area.Exposing your cotton sareedirectly to the sun will cause the color of your cotton saree to fade.
• Store the cotton saree inan area that doesn’t have humidity and not exposed to direct sunlight.
